Elecnor starts building 320-MW Cimarron wind farm in Mexico

Elecnor SA has started the construction of the 320-MW Cimarron wind farm in Mexico. The project is developed by Sempra Infrastructure and features Vestas wind turbines. The wind farm is part of the Energia Sierra Juarez complex and will send power to California. Silicon Valley Power will off-take the output under a power purchase agreement. Construction began after securing the EPC contract.
