Elements Green gets planning consent for 360-MW BESS in UK

UK solar and storage developer, Elements Green, has secured planning consent for its 360-MW Staythorpe battery energy storage system project in England. The facility will have a capacity to store 720 MWh and is expected to energise in August 2026. Elements Green has a global development pipeline exceeding 12 GW, with one of its major projects being the 1-GW dc Great North Road solar and storage facility in the UK.
