Enagas Renovable, Verbund partner green H2 projects in Spain

Enagas Renovable and Verbund Green Hydrogen GmbH have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop green hydrogen projects in Spain. The partnership aims to produce hydrogen for difficult-to-decarbonise sectors in Europe, focusing on large-scale projects in areas with high wind and solar power potential. The produced low-cost hydrogen will be exported to the European Union via H2Med hydrogen pipeline and the European Hydrogen Backbone.
