Enel Chile begins commercial operation of its largest hybrid project in the country

Enel Chile has commenced commercial operation of the PFV Las Salinas stages 1, 2, and 3, a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 205 MW. The project, along with the wind farm Sierra Gorda Este, will form the largest industrial-scale hybrid renewable generation center in Chile, producing energy for over 415,000 Chilean homes. Enel Green Power plans to invest $2.3 billion in Chile by 2026, with a significant portion dedicated to renewable energy projects.
