Enel wraps up construction of 93-MW Aussie solar park

Italy’s Enel Green Power completes the construction of 93-MW Girgarre solar park in Victoria, Australia. The project is moving to its commissioning phase and is expected to generate electricity for about 43,000 homes. Beon Australia & New Zealand is the construction contractor. Longi Asia-Pacific from China is the technology provider. The solar park will sell electricity under a long-term power purchase agreement with SmartestEnergy Australia, a part of Japan’s Marubeni Corp.
