Energiequelle, Alterric switch on three 4.2-MW turbines at German site

German renewables developer-operator Energiequelle GmbH has commissioned three Enercon 4.2-MW turbines at a wind farm in Mittelherwigsdorf, Saxony. The project involved dismantling old wind turbines and replacing them with new ones, resulting in increased power production to supply around 11,000 households. The company has installed over 850 turbines totaling around 1,700 MW.
