EU blade suppliers call for resilience action

Companies involved in the production of materials for wind turbine blades have urged the EU to enhance supply chain resilience as part of the Net-Zero Industry Act. Notably, TECH-FAB Europe, CEFIC divisions, Glass Fibre Europe, and Rotorblatt Allianz highlighted the need for measures to protect the EU against imports that undercut local manufacturers. They recommend policies favoring local content, trade defence measures against subsidized imports, and stricter import controls to uphold environmental and labor standards.
