EU Commission approves €1.2 billion Polish renewables manufacturing scheme

The European Commission has approved a €1.2 billion state aid scheme in Poland to support investments in renewables equipment. The scheme incentivises production of equipment for the transition towards a net-zero economy. Similar schemes have been approved in Hungary, France, and Germany. Spain and the Netherlands are also implementing incentive schemes for renewables manufacturing.
