European Energy, Energiequelle win repowering permit

Local authorities approved European Energy and Energiequelle's plans to repower a wind farm in Tüttendorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany from 12.5MW to 49.6MW by adding eight Vestas V162-6.2MW turbines. BWP Tüttendorf Projekt GmbH & Co. KG will co-own the new turbines, promoting regional value creation. Repowering will increase efficiency and electricity generation.
