European Energy seeks Queensland government approval for 1.1GW solar project

Danish developer European Energy is seeking Queensland government approval for the Upper Calliope Solar Farm in Mount Alma, Australia. The project, targeted to commence construction in 2025-26, will connect to the National Electricity Market and provide electricity to Rio Tinto's industrial operations in the area.
