Eurus Energy takes stake in Pentland floater

Eurus Energy UK has acquired a stake in the 100MW Pentland floating offshore wind farm owned by Highland Wind Limited. The project, located off the coast of Dounreay in Caithness, is majority owned by Flagship Funds and managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. Hexicon A/B is also a minority shareholder. The offshore consents application was approved earlier by the Scottish Minister. The project has a capacity of 100MW and a 25-year lifespan. Richard Copeland, the project director, expressed readiness to move forward with the project.
