First attempt to build UV-stable perovskite solar cells that harvest energy from ‘black lights’

Researchers from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom have fabricated a perovskite solar cell that can harvest energy from commercially available near-ultraviolet (UV-A) indoor LED lights, commonly known as 'black lights'. The solar cell showed high power conversion efficiency and potential applications in indoor near-UV light energy harvesting.
