First Solar probes potential infringement of TOPCon patents

First Solar is investigating potential violations of its patents for TOPCon solar cell technology. It acquired TetraSun in 2013, which had proprietary cell architecture and manufacturing processes for large-format crystalline silicon wafers. If infringement is discovered, First Solar intends to challenge potential infringers and safeguard its rights.
