First turbine goes up at Baltic Eagle

The Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in Germany, jointly owned by Iberdrola and Masdar, is being constructed with Vestas V174-9.5MW wind turbines. The installation of the first wind turbine marks the final phase of construction, with the project expected to be operational by the end of 2024. The construction involves the use of the jack-up vessel Blue Tern owned by Fred Olsen Windcarrier for transportation and installation. Various key figures like Felipe Montero, Husain Al Meer, and Nils de Baar have expressed their confidence and support for the project.
