First turbine installed at Borkum Riffgrund 3

The first wind turbine has been installed at the 913MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm in Germany. The wind farm is jointly owned by Orsted and Nuveen Infrastructure. It is on track to be commissioned in 2025. The wind turbines will be connected via 66 kV connection cables to the DolWin Epsilon offshore converter platform operated by TenneT. Gode Wind 3, owned by Orsted and Nuveen, is also undergoing wind turbine installation.
