Fraunhofer ISE uses digital twin model and deep learning for optimised tracking

Fraunhofer ISE collaborated with Zimmermann PV-Tracker on the DeepTrack project to improve tracking algorithms using deep learning. They developed a digital twin for solar PV monitoring and modelling tools with optimized control approaches. The project aims to maximize electricity yield from solar PV modules and agrivoltaics systems. The research project will run until early 2025.
