Fred Olsen turns sod on Scottish wind farm

Fred Olsen Renewables is constructing the 50MW Crystal Rig 4 wind farm in Scotland, with the project set to commence generation in early 2026. The wind farm, consented by the Scottish government, will provide over £8m to the communities of East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. Main contractor RJ McLeod will install the site, prioritizing local contractors. Sofie Jebsen, the chief executive of Fred Olsen Renewables, highlighted the company's commitment to Scotland's renewable ambitions and the UK's net zero journey.
