Galileo to consult on 533MW Scottish wind farm

Renewables investor Galileo plans to consult on proposals for a 533MW wind farm in Scotland. The project includes 74 turbines, a battery energy storage scheme, and aims to enhance and restore degraded peatland. The wind farm is expected to generate power for 575,000 homes, contributing to Scotland's net zero emissions target. Additionally, a community benefit fund of £2.7m per year will be invested in the local community.
