GCL says perovskite solar module passes silicon degradation tests

CGL Technology presented its latest perovskite solar module technology at the Intersolar tradeshow in Munich, Germany. The company expects to mass produce perovskite-silicon tandem solar modules in late 2025. They have deployed perovskite modules in a 1 MW solar power project and plan to test the viability of the product across different geographies. GCL aims for better degradation performance compared to standard silicon modules with their tandem module.
