GE Vernova bags UK grid battery deal

GE Vernova is supplying a 48MW battery energy storage system in Cornwall, UK for the Sambar Power project. Varco Energy, funded by Adaptogen Capital, is building flexible storage assets. The collaboration between GE Vernova and Varco aims to balance renewable energy generation and reduce reliance on fossil fuels in the UK.
