GE Vernova lands turbine order for hot-button wind project in Spain

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) signed a EUR 700 million agreement with GE Vernova Inc for a wind power project in Spain's Aragon region. The Maestrazgo Cluster project faces opposition due to environmental concerns. Organizations like Teruel Existe and FCQ have raised issues. CIP expects the wind farms to have a positive impact on Spain's wind industry.
