GE Vernova to supply 250-MW BESS for Aussie Supernode project

GE Vernova Inc selected to deliver battery energy storage system solution for the second stage of the Supernode project in Queensland, Australia. Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners awarded the contract. GE Vernova responsible for supply, commissioning, and integration engineering. Set in Brendale, the project will create a data centre complex and a BESS site of 750 MW across three stages. Origin Energy Ltd contracted the capacity of stages one and two.
