Georgia seeks consultants for 6.13 MW solar plant

A tender has opened for consultancy services for a 6.13 MW solar power plant in Sartichala, Georgia. Funding from German state-owned bank KfW. Georgian Oil and Gas Corp. to build and operate the plant. Consultant to prepare feasibility study and technical specifications. Timeline of six months for the contract. Preference for consulting firms with regional experience in various countries. Georgia had deployed 58 MW of solar by the end of 2023, per IRENA data.
