German authorities arrest Solar Fabrik CEO

The CEO of Solar Fabrik, Christian Laibacher, was arrested in connection with an investigation by the Würzburg public prosecutor's office. The investigation is related to the activities of ESC Verwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG between 2014 and 2016. Solar Fabrik, which announced plans to build a new factory for TOPCon solar modules, had connections with ESC Verwaltungs GmbH. Laibacher acquired part of Solar Fabrik's production operations in 2016 after its bankruptcy. Solar Fabrik faced issues with module output deviations and reached an out-of-court settlement.
