German offshore wind measurement campaign commences

TGS has launched a wind measurement campaign in the North Sea using two LiDAR buoys to collect detailed wind, metocean, and environmental data. This data supports decision-making for wind lease rounds in the German Bight and reduces costs and uncertainties for offshore wind developers. Similar campaigns exist in the East Coast of America and Norway, and TGS plans further global expansions.
