German PV system prices down by over 4% since November

Selfmade Energy, a German platform for price comparisons in the PV and heat pump sectors, published a price analysis report on the indicative offer prices for PV systems and battery storage systems. Prices for PV systems have remained stable, while prices for battery storage systems fluctuated. Declines in prices were observed in various regions of Germany, with the most significant decreases in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. Selfmade Energy attributed the price decline to falling module prices and consumer anticipation of further decreases. The platform intends to release quarterly solar and battery storage reports focusing on price trends.
