Germany accelerates approval procedures for PV, wind power, storage

Germany's federal cabinet approved a draft law implementing the EU's Renewable Energy Directive focusing on onshore wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage systems. The law includes acceleration areas for simplified approval processes. Additionally, electrolyzers for hydrogen production will undergo easier approval procedures in compliance with the amended European Industrial Emissions Directive.
