Germany adds 220,000 new plug-in solar PV systems in H1 2024

Germany added 220,000 new plug-in solar PV systems in the first half of 2024, contributing to a total of 9.3 gigawatts of renewable energy systems commissioned in the same period. The country aims to achieve 80 percent renewable power in its gross electricity consumption by 2030.
