Germany’s January-April solar installations hit 5 GW

Germany installed 1,040 MW of new PV capacity in April, reaching 4.98 GW in the first four months of 2024. The country's cumulative solar capacity is 87.57 GW, aiming for 215 GW by 2030. Different schemes like feed-in tariff and national tenders contributed to the growth, with significant installations in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and Saxony.
