Germany’s new solar additions hit 3.7 GW in Q1

Germany's Federal Network Agency reported a growth in new PV system installations with 1,098.8 MW registered in March 2023, part of a cumulative capacity reaching 86.2 GW. To meet the 2030 solar target of 215 GW, monthly installations need to exceed 1.55 GW. Significant installations in the first quarter of 2023 were noted in Bavaria, Saxony, and Baden-Württemberg.
