Germany’s new solar installations hit 790 MW in August

Germany installed 790 MW of new PV capacity in August, reaching a cumulative solar capacity of 93.02 GW by the end of August. Most new systems are located in Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, and Lower Saxony, with a total of 10.23 GW of solar connected to the grid in the first eight months of this year. The majority of deployed capacity comes from PV projects selected in tenders.
