Germany’s PV systems inject 40 GW of PV into grid for first time

On May 4, in Germany, photovoltaic systems set a new record by feeding more than 40 GW of power into the grid. This resulted in a decrease in retail electricity prices and a significant contribution to net public electricity generation by renewables.
