German energy solutions company GP JOULE GmbH put into operation a solar park with a capacity of 83 MW in East Frisia, Germany. They built the facility for Friesen Elektra Green Energy AG, integrating solar modules into an existing wind farm. The solar park is expected to produce 80,000 GWh of electricity per year, meeting the needs of over 26,600 households. GP JOULE plans to expand the solar park by adding 37 MW. Friesen Elektra is also venturing into green hydrogen production with a 2 GW electrolysis project to be completed by 2030.
