Great British Energy to set up headquarters in Aberdeen

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirms Great British Energy to be headquartered in Aberdeen with additional sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Interim CEO to be appointed. Start-up chair Juergen Maier, former CEO of Siemens UK, to lead establishment. GBP 8.3 billion in government funding. Focus on clean energy in the North Sea.
