Greece adds storage to solar tenders

Since 2016, Greece has awarded over 2 GW of solar capacity through competitive auctions with variable feed-in premiums. A new law allows for auctions with higher power curtailment rates and energy storage systems. Concerns about electricity curtailment and feed-in tariffs changes for small-scale solar projects are addressed, with new regulations in place to manage renewable energy growth.
