PPC buys wind, solar parks, 1.7 GW in renewables projects in Greece

PPC Group reached a deal with Copelouzos and Samaras to acquire wind power and photovoltaic assets of 66.6 MW, as well as a renewables project pipeline of 1.7 GW. They are also increasing their stake in a gas power plant project. The 66.6 MW capacity includes two wind parks and photovoltaic facilities. Projects under development cost EUR 106 million. The gas plant project in Alexandroupolis has an annual output of 5 ΤWh. PPC will pay EUR 106 million in cash and EUR 70 million in own shares for the acquisitions.
