Green Genius locks debt to build 121-MW solar park in Latvia

Lithuanian renewables developer Green Genius secures EUR 87 million in debt financing from Berenberg Bank and Nord LB to build a 121-MW solar park in Jekabpils, Latvia. The project aims to be the largest standalone PV complex in Latvia and is estimated to cost over EUR 100 million. The PV park will cover 151 ha of land and is expected to offset 121,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Green Genius, affiliated with Modus Group, has multiple projects under development and construction across 8 European countries.
