Green Gravity links with miner to fast track gravity energy storage tech

Green Gravity and RUC have partnered to explore technical opportunities and commercial arrangements for gravitational energy storage systems. Green Gravity's technology uses gravity to generate clean, dispatchable energy by lifting and lowering weights in mine shafts. The CEO of Green Gravity, Mark Swinnerton, highlighted the breakthrough in long-duration storage of renewable energy. The collaboration aims to leverage RUC's expertise in shaft sinking and Green Gravity's technology for faster deployment of energy storage systems in mineshafts.
