Green light for RES storage system

The Angus Council approved RES' 49.9MW Dunmill Energy Storage System near the Bridge of Dun Substation in Scotland. The system aims to support Scotland's net zero emissions targets and enhance the grid network's reliability. It will store excess energy for later use, contributing to a more flexible energy system. The project also includes biodiversity improvements through a tree protection plan and planting native trees.
