GreenRock Energy and Solarvest to build 1GW solar projects in Malaysia and Taiwan

GreenRock Energy has partnered with Malaysian solar company Solarvest to develop 1GW solar PV projects in Taiwan and Malaysia. The partnership will focus on various solar PV projects, including rooftop, ground-mounted, floating, and large-scale plants, with a possibility of integrating battery energy storage systems. Solarvest currently has a portfolio of 1.2GW, with projects under construction. Both countries are expanding their solar capacity, with Malaysia launching tenders for large-scale solar PV projects.
