Hamburg 2024: German JV bolsters fleet

Schoeller Holdings and Deutsche Offshore Schifffahrt have ordered four construction commissioning service operation vessels (C-CSOVs) from CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for delivery in early 2027. The C-CSOVs will accommodate up to 100 technicians and offer operational flexibility for offshore wind and other energy sectors. Technical management will be provided by Columbia Shipmanagement. Deutsche Offshore Schifffahrt plans to charter out the vessels worldwide. The C-CSOV design includes unique features for offshore work and living facilities.
