Havfram to handle turbine installation for Iberdrola's Windanker

Havfram, a Oslo-based transport and installation services provider, has received a contract from Iberdrola SA to erect turbines for the Windanker offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea. The project will involve the installation of Siemens Gamesa turbines off the coast of the German island of Ruegen. Once completed, the Windanker wind park will sell its output under several power purchase agreements with TMD Friction Services GmbH, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, and Amazon.com Inc.
