Havfram to handle turbine installation for Iberdrola's Windanker

Havfram, a transport and installation services provider based in Oslo, secured a contract from Iberdrola SA to install 21 Siemens Gamesa turbines for the Windanker offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea. The project will be executed using Havfram's new-build wind turbine installation vessel, starting in summer 2026. The Windanker wind park will sell its output through various power purchase agreements with companies like TMD Friction Services GmbH, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, and Amazon.com Inc.
