Heliatek develops lightweight organic PV module for low load-bearing roofs, facades

Heliatek, a Germany-based company, has introduced a new series of lightweight organic PV (OPV) modules called Heliasol 436-2000-CFE-45-600V, which are designed for low-load-bearing rooftops. These modules have a 20-year lifetime warranty, 45 W power output, and are IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 compliant. The CEO, Guido van Tartwijk, highlighted the innovative features of the product, such as its self-adhesive mounting tape and robust supply chain. Heliatek has invested in a state-of-the-art factory in Germany to meet the growing demand for their technology in various markets worldwide.
