Heliene, Premier Energies announce U.S. solar cell factory

Heliene and Premier Energies have announced a joint venture to produce solar cells in the United States with an annual capacity of 1 GW n-Type cells. This partnership aims to fill gaps in the domestic supply chain for solar cells in the U.S., driven by growing demand for U.S.-made modules. The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 offers tax credits to promote clean energy manufacturing in the U.S.
