Horizon Power unveils solar hydrogen microgrid in Western Australia

The Western Australian government has released a report on the commissioning and operation of a solar and green hydrogen microgrid in Denham. It includes a 704 kW solar farm, two 174 kW electrolysers, storage, and a fuel cell. The system is expected to generate 526 MWh of renewable energy per year, with 13,000 kg of green hydrogen produced. Lessons learned will aid in the integration of hydrogen technology into electricity systems.
