Hoymiles commissions microinverter factory in Mexico

Chinese microinverter manufacturer Hoymiles has opened its first overseas manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The plant will produce microinverters for residential and commercial solar applications. It has an initial production capacity of 500,000 units per year and plans to double the capacity in the future. Hoymiles CEO Yang Bo sees the plant in Monterrey as a significant milestone in supporting the transition to renewable energy in North and Latin America.
