Hydro-Québec’s EVLO to deploy 300MWh of BESS in Virginia

EVLO's BES technology was deployed in Vermont last month, and EVLO will deploy 300MWh of BESS in Virginia for three projects, to be operational by 2025 and 2026. The projects include microgrid paired with solar PV, standalone projects enhancing grid reliability, and a system adjoining a solar PV plant at a major transportation hub. EVLO describes their grid-scale BESS products EVLOFLEX and EVLO SYNERGY. The projects support Virginia's aim to reach 100% clean energy by 2050.
