Iberdrola inks German solar PPA

Iberdrola Deutschland and Salzgitter Flachstahl have expanded their partnership by signing a new solar power purchase agreement. Starting from 2025, Iberdrola will supply approximately 60 GWh of electricity annually to Salzgitter Flachstahl from a new 60MW solar plant in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. This agreement, which builds on their existing collaboration involving the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm, aims to assist Salzgitter Flachstahl in achieving climate-neutral production.
