Iberdrola plans Portugal’s first wind-hydro hybrid power project

Iberdrola has obtained final environmental approval to build a 274 MW wind farm as part of the Tâmega hydroelectric complex in Portugal. The project aims to combine wind and hydropower for stable renewable energy production. Similar projects are planned in Greece and Turkey.
